REP ONYEJEOCHA IS WOMAN OF THE YEAR – OMPAN

Deputy Chief Whip And Member Representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Fed Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Nkeiruika Onyejeocha has been selected as the Abia Woman of The Year 2021 by the Abia online Media Publishers.

She was chosen for the award for her outstanding legislative sagacity and unmatched contributions in the law making processes in the Green Chamber.

Also for her effort in job creation for the teeming youths of her constituency and for ameliorating the sufferings of her constituents through the attraction of quality projects.

According to the group, she placed premium on the health of her constituents and remained resolute in her drive to sustain her almost 14 years old free medical outreach which catered to malaria, typhoid fever, as well as major surgeries like hernia, appendicitis, goitres and eye diseases, with well over 1000 constituents benefiting from the outreach so far.

Most importantly is her role in ensuring Women Inclusion in politics through the instrument of the law which necessitated her co sponsoring the Special seats for women Bill with the Speaker House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.

The Award will be presented to the Lawmaker alongside other Awardees at the Michael Okpara Auditorium on the 19th of Nov. 2021 as part of the activities marking the groups 4-Day Annual General Meeting/Bloggers Week.According to the planning committee, the 4-Day Bloggers week will commence on Tuesday 16th with the arrival of visiting Bloggers from across the country, a Training Session(17th Nov), a tour of the Governor’s projects(18th), and a media Interactive with the Governor. The award presentation on the 19th will be the climax of the event.

Abia online Media Publishers, the umbrella body for all Online Media Practitioners in Abia State has named Reps Deputy Chief Whip and member Representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency Hon. Barr Nkeiruika Onyejeocha as Abia Woman of the Year 2021.

According to the group, the Award is in recognition of her outstanding legislative sagacity and unequalled input in the law making processes in the Green Chamber, job creation for for the teeming youths of her constituency and for obliterating the nightmares of her constituents through the attraction of quality projects.
