OMPAN AGM: MAJOR GEN. A.K.IBRAHIM WINS EXCELLENCE AWARD.

The Abia Online Media Publishers, the Umbrella body for all Online Media Practitioners in Abia State has recognised the Commander Multinational Joint Task Force Lake Chad, Major General A. K Ibrahim for an award of Excellence/Media Friendliness.

The Award according to OMPAN is in recognition of his excellent service and disposition to the media while serving as the Commander 14 Brigade Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Barracks Ohafia Abia state.

Considering his demeanor as rare in a world were journalists are constantly harrased and maimed by security operatives while he maintained absolute professionalism and best practices throughout his stay in Abia, the group believes such deserves commendation.

He will alongside other awardees be presented with this Award at the Michael Okpara Auditorium on the 19th of Nov. 2021 as part of the activities marking the groups 4-Day Annual General Meeting/Bloggers Week.According to the planning committee, the 4-Day Bloggers week will commence on Tuesday 16th with the arrival of visiting Bloggers from across the country, a Training Session(17th Nov), a Tour of the Governor’s projects(18th), a media Interactive with the Governor, and the AGM/Awards (19th Nov).
