MAKE SME BECOME ECONOMIC SUPPORT FOR ABIA- PROF IBE TELLS GOVERNOR IKPEAZU

The Chancellor, Gregory University Uturu, Prof Gregory Ibe has charged the Governor to use the recent recognition as a giant in SME in working towards total transformation of the Small and Medium Scale Enterprises sector as a means of enhancing the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) profile of the state.
He believes no other governor is more suitable to win the award for best governor in the Small and Medium Scale Enterprises category than governor Okezie Ikpeazu.
The award was bestowed on him recently y the New Telegraph Newspapers in Abuja for his efforts at promoting SME from his state Abia by showcasing it to the world.
Being someone who is equally grounded in the area of entrepreneurship and skill acquisition empowerment of the youth, Prof Ibe, said it is a well deserved award in a congratulatory message to the governor, and described the award as “prestigious.”
