GUU AND DECADE OF GLORY

It is indeed unbelievable to some that an institution which birthed in 2012 in a town that hosts the state universityj in Abia state has surprisingly grown in leaps and bounds.

For its ten years of existence, Gregory University Uturu has had uninterrupted academic calendar.

Not even the pandemic was enough to slow it down.

Only the best is offered in this institution as the students not only learn the courses they are admitted for, but also are made to acquire at least a skill. This is in line with the policy and objectives of the university.

In addition, the university has effectively affected it’s immediate host community with various programs of empowerment it has held for indigenes. Certainly, it has bridged the gap between the “Town and the Gown.”

The 2022 matriculation to usher in new set of students for their academic pursuit coincides with the 10th anniversary of the GUU.

It is worth noting that within the period, the student population has grown and is still growing, just as the staff population has equally increased.

As GUU steps in to the next decade, all nay sayers can now agree and know that it means business and on a mission to salvage education through provision of quality and world-class education
