ABIA 2023: “BE AGENTS OF CHANGE” – PROF IBE CHARGES APGA HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY CANDIDATES

The guberntorial candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Abia state, Prof Gregory Ibe has urged the 24 house of assembly candidates of the party for the 2023 general elections to join hands with him in ensuring that the party’s ideology is upheld to the letter once elected.
He believes that the party’s agenda anchored on its mantra of “Onye aghala Nwanne ya” is all that is needed to right the wrongs in government.
Prof. Ibe who was addressing the party’s candidates for the state legislature at his campaign headquarters in Umuahia, enjoined them to partner him as they embark on the mission of impacting lives through well articulated programmes.
He therefore encouraged them to be agents of social change in their various constituencies in line with the party’s humanitarian ideology.
He decried the current deplorable condition of roads within Abia state and disclosed that he intends to commence palliative grading of rural access roads around the state once the dry season sets in.
He called for support from the house of assembly candidates to partner him in ensuring that critical access roads, especially those that would stimulate the business undertakings of their constituents are captured during the palliative exercise.

The meeting attracted the likes of the running mate of Prof Ibe, Hon Obinna Ichita, key members of Prof Gregory Ibe Campaign Organization and some APGA chieftains.
Since arriving the state from a foreign trip, Prof Ibe has been in several meetings with different organs of APGA in Abia state, as well as attended the just concluded two day retreat for all candidates of the party at state and national levels.
