ABIAKAM EMERGES CHAIRMAN AS FEDERAL MINISTRIES, AGENCIES ELECT NEW EXECUTIVE IN ABIA

The association of federal heads of establishments in Abia state has elected Gloria Abiakam of federal ministry of information as its chairman.
She takes over from Ndubueze Ukomadu at the expiration of his two years tenure.
The election, also produced Ukpabia Eni of National Identity Management Commission as vice chairman of the association.
The election which was conducted at the police officer’s mess in Umuahia, was done under a very peaceful atmosphere.
According to the constitution of the Association, election is to be held every two years to produce new executive members that will pilot the affairs of the group.

The election, also produced Nkechi Onyedibia of NTA emerged the association’s Public Relations’ Officer.
Others elected include Regina Iroha “Secretary”, Amadi Theophilus “Assistant Secretary”, Ify Okosi “Treasurer”, Lilian Eze “Financial Secretary And Obinna Odenigbo esquire as the “Legal Adviser”.
The New Chairman, Gloria Abiakam in her acceptance speech said the new executive will strive to attract facilities and welfare that will help them do their jobs efficiently.
The outgoing executive handed over every document of the association in their custody to the new ones for a continuous smooth running of the association.
Association of Heads of Federal Establishments is a forum of all federal ministries and agencies which include the army, police, FIRS, NSCDC, CBN, NTA, NAVY, FMC, MOUAU, etc.
