By Editor, Umuahia .
Former Flying Eagles coach and new chairman of Abia warriors football club of Umuahia, John Obuh has said that the welfare of the footballers is paramount as far as football Management is concerned.
Mr. Obuh who stated this at a press conference in Umuahia to present himself to the media, explained that he has outlined the welfare in such a way that the team will never choose to draw or lose any game .
He also said that as someone who understands the dictates of the job, he would not interfere with the decisions of the coach concerning the players to choose or not.
He further said he is expectant that while government takes time to fix the Umuahia township stadium, Abia warriors should synergise with Enyimba football club in order to use their stadium instead of going to other states to use their facilities.
Abia state has two club sides, Enyimba football club of Aba and Abia warriors of Umuahia in the NPFL as well as Abia Comets in NNL.
