IKPEAZU LAUDED FOR HER EFFORTS IN ENTREPRENEURAL DEVELOPMENT.

The wife of the Governor of Abia State, Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu Ph.d has once again received accolades for her dedication to the growth of women particularly in Abia State.

The commendation came from Prof. Gregory Ikechukwu Ibe when he paid a courtesy visit to the first lady at Government House, Umuahia.

Prof. Ibe described Her Excellency’s efforts in women development as nothing short of epic and reiterated his avowed dedication to the economic growth of Abia State through entrepreneurship, assuring her Excellency of partnering her office to complete the Secretariat of the National Council of Women Society which her office is erecting in Abia State.

He restated his resolve to replicate the support he has given the National Council of Women at the National level to the State, recalling his recent donation of popcorn machines to indigent women through the office of Her Excellency in support of her pet project.

He added that his contributions and enthusiasm to building enterpreneurs is because it is the shortest and surest way to building an independent State economy rather than having people wondering about fruitlessly in search of white collar jobs that most atimes are not there.

He mentioned his support to the National Council of Women Society at the National level and his recent donation of popcorn machines to indigent women through the office of her Excellency to support her pet project and therefore pledged the sum of five million Naira (#5,000,000) to support the building of the secretariat of National Council of Women Society.

In her response, Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu, expressed gratitude to Prof. Greg Ibe for his commitment to the growth of women and assured him that her office will carry him along as they progress.
