One year later: Bloggers set to evaluate Otti’s government

Bloggers under the aegis of the Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria(OMPAN) Abia state are set to tour the projects of governor Alex Otti to be able to evaluate his performance after one year in office.

The body had announced a few days ago about plans to embark on this tour.

The exercise is scheduled to take place on May 23rd and 24th ahead of the one year in office of the governor.

In a Statement jointly endorsed by the state chairman of OMPAN, Promise Uzoma Okoro and the event committee chairman, Comrade Ugochukwu Nwankwo, the bloggers resolved to take a tour of these projects to identify and publish developmental projects of the current administration led by Dr Alex Otti since assumption of office on May 29th 2023.

According to the Statement,all registered members of OMPAN will tour the state Government’s projects across the state on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th May 2024 while Saturday 25th May 2024 will be for a LIVE interactive Session between the governor, Dr Alex Otti and the bloggers .

The interactive session will be at the Umuahia North Local Government Area Multi Purpose Hall.

OMPAN is known for embarking on such people oriented exercise which had been carried out in the past administration where it published reports from the eye witness account.
